Random Photoshoot
Happy {day of the week} people! I decided I need to take a break from sewing, since my machines were out due to maintenance. I found myself driving to hang with my friend Linda at the dorms of AI. I met Linda in Fashion Digital Design Class. Before I start rambling let me get to the point… PHOTOSHOOT! I dressed and styled Linda with pieces of her wardrobe and my “Blue Suede Shoes”!
I introduce you to Linda “The Mistress of Light”
I introduce you to Linda “The Mistress of Light”
We scanned the dorm grounds searching for the perfect place to shoot…
We found several nooks and crannies!
I got some surprisingly great shots… After making Linda “The Mistress of Light”, I decided to turn her into “The Mistress of the Dark”.
After shooting for a couple of hours it was time to take my leave. I reflected on my day. I’m surprised I didn’t go crazy without sewing for one whole day! I leave you with Linda and I both reflecting on our day of unplanned fashion shooting.

I Heart Graffiti
While my bf beautifully vandalized a wall. I decide to take pics of the beautiful, rustic world that surrounded me at that moment. Here’s some pics of the piece my bf was working on:
I call this one “Love Burns”.
I scored this great dress from a thrift store called “Out of the Closet”. This store was founded in California
and is prominent in the gay community, they offer free HIV Testing and free condoms… Unique.
I love the fact that I can score great looks for cheap… I am a fashion student on a budget, but like my mother always said “work with what you‘ve got.”
Ill leave you with a pic that I took of myself in a mirror I found!

New Addition to Ezra Redux Collection: Mango Bay Blouse

This blouse has a very festive print, so it just screams “LOOK AT ME.” However the print is not what attracted me to this piece. The glass beads dangling from the hem of the blouse is what truly peaked my interest. Clothing now-a-days lack details like these, I believe these are the details that can make or break any desired look. When I first acquired this piece I had no clue what I would transform it into, but after a bit of trial and error I upcycled this blouse into a chic, modern piece!
I added darts, pleats and faux leather. Its more tight-fitting and the lines I created on the garment are shape enhancing. We all want an hour-glass figure!
I even added details to the back, so this garment is slimming all around. This garment can be worn as a jacket or a top; you can even belt it for a different look.
This is me wearing this garment
You can find this and all my other pieces on senseoffashion.com, so look me up! Happy Blogging People
